PREPARE YOURSELF FOR YOUR INTERMEDIATE CLEANSE :
Here’s a few things you need to eliminate in your diet 48 hours prior to your cleanse :
- Refined sugar & food
- Animal products (red meat and such)
- Processed Foods
- Dairy products
Incorporate more vegetables & fruits, such as fresh salads, oats, granola, natural seeds & nuts into your diet to get you prepared on your full liquid fast. Remember to keep yourself hydrated with 2 liters of filtered water; you may slice up some key limes and mint leaves to make it much easier to drink a large amount. We recommend that you completely eliminate everything on the list above to really gain the benefits of your cleanse.
DURING YOUR CLEANSE
Start the day of your juice cleanse with a glass of filtered water (better warm but your preference) with a slice of lemon or half a Balinese key lime (and a spoon of honey & apple cider vinegar if you have this).
Consume your juices within a 2 hour increment, according to the order stated on your cleanse plan. (look for the numbers on top of the bottle or on the top right side of the label, start from 1, to 1.1, then 2, and so on)
You may consume your almond milk in advance if you feel a little light headed in the afternoon and in need of an energy boost or even in the morning if you’re used to having coffee.
Again drink your 2 liters of filtered water in between your juices and boil some herbal or green tea during the day. Don’t overdo your work-out and try to keep everything light and peaceful. Take the time to indulge in some yoga/mat pilates, take a walk outside, a light jog by the beach & bathe in the sea, or write in your journal. This is a gracious time for you and your mental being to reconnect.
During the first 12 hours of your cleanse we encourage you to slowly incorporate food into your diet. We suggest you start the morning with a smoothie, and a fresh green salad or blended soup for lunch, and you can do something like grilled zucchini’s for dinner or even some tasty quinoa for dinner. We recommend drinking a few bottles of Remix in this transition process. You can incorporate more solid food as the days go by, but always keep in mind to be thoughtful about what you eat, you have made it this far!
